Report: Lemont spent $18,299 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Lemont Township High School District 210 is up 6.9 percent from five years ago, according to a South Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $17,110 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $18,299 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 1411 to 1418.

Lemont's spending in 2017-18 was 37.2 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
