Report: Willow Springs spent $13,244 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Willow Springs School District 108 is up 10.1 percent from five years ago, according to a South Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $12,029 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,244 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 391 to 405.

Willow Springs's spending in 2017-18 was 0.7 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
