Andrew Holmes, Tammie Brown and Edward “Ed” Steave likely will unseat three incumbents on the Village of Dolton's board of trustees on April 2 after garnering the most votes in Tuesday's consolidated primary election.
With all 19 precincts reporting, Holmes was leading the pack with 1,351 votes, or 17.47 percent of the overall vote. Brown was second with 1,159 votes (14.99 percent) and Steave came in third with 1,042 (13.48 percent), according to the Cook County Clerk's Office.
The trio is backed by Dolton Mayor Riley Rogers.
In all, there are 62,959 registered voters in Dolton, but voter turnout was only 17 percent with 10,747 votes cast.
