Unpaid fines for Hazel Crest-based campaign committee totaled $325 in August 2018

One campaign committee in Hazel Crest has overdue fines amounting to a total of $325, records obtained by the South Cook News show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Hazel Crest First Party was the only campaign committee in Hazel Crest that was delinquent in payment for August 2018, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The largest fine that Hazel Crest First Party has yet to pay was imposed on Feb. 27, 2015, for a late quarterly report. The amount of this fine alone is $225.
