Unpaid fines for Lemont-based campaign committee totaled $1,925 in August 2018

One campaign committee in Lemont has overdue fines amounting to a total of $1,925, records obtained by the South Cook News show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Egofske For Mayor was the only campaign committee in Lemont that was delinquent in payment for August 2018, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The largest fine that Egofske For Mayor has yet to pay was imposed on May 29, 2018, for a late quarterly report. The amount of this fine alone is $1,750.
