Unpaid fines for Summit-based campaign committees totaled $5,150 in August 2018

Campaign committees in Summit collectively owe a total of $5,150 in fines, according to records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that two committees in Summit were delinquent in payment for August 2018.

The Summit-based committee with the largest total in unpaid fines was United Party, which owes a total of $5,000.

The fine that United Party has yet to pay was imposed on Oct. 14, 2015, for failure to comply.

The following table lists all campaign committees in Summit owing unpaid fines in August 2018, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections:
