commissioner candidate Abdelnasser Rashid returns $200 contribution from Alyaman Amer

The campaign committee of commissioner candidate Abdelnasser Rashid, Friends for Rashid, returned a $200 contribution from Alyaman Amer on Jan. 15, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Amer has not made any other contributions to Abdelnasser Rashid in the past 12 months.
