state treasurer candidate Christine Radogno returns $1,700 contribution from J & J Ventures

The campaign committee of state treasurer candidate Christine Radogno, Citizens for Christine Radogno, returned a $1,700 contribution from J & J Ventures on Jan. 17, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. J & J Ventures has not made any other contributions to Christine Radogno in the past 12 months.
