The campaign committee of mayor candidate Riley Rogers, Riley's Friends, returned a $3,900 contribution from Michael Rose on April 17, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Rose has not made any other contributions to Riley Rogers in the past 12 months.
