The campaign committee of state representative candidate Robert "Bob" Rita, Friends of Robert "Bob" Rita, returned a $500 contribution from Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits on Oct. 13, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits has not made any other contributions to Robert "Bob" Rita in the past 12 months.
