The price of local government in 2017: Village of South Holland

The Village of South Holland budget was $41.50 million for its 2017 fiscal year, or $5,277 per household.

That's a decrease of 0.7 percent from 2016, when the village spent $41.78 million, or $5,313 per household.

South Holland has 7,864 households and a population of 21,817.

Since 2001, the Village of South Holland budget has grown by 572.2 percent, from $6.17 million. The village population has fallen 4.3 percent over the same period, from 22,800.
