Lemont (Cook County) home prices rise in February 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2017 in Lemont in Cook County rose by $32,500 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2017, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $369,500 - a 9.6% increase over the $337,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Lemont in February 2016.

The median sales tax in Lemont for 2017 was $6,720. In 2016, the median sales tax was $6,024. This marks an increase of 11.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
