Hickory Hills home prices rise in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in Hickory Hills rose by $29,000 while total sales decreased by 23.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $222,500 - a 15% increase over the $193,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Hickory Hills in March 2016.

The median sales tax in Hickory Hills for 2017 was $5,537. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,135. This marks an increase of 7.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.5%.
