Palos Hills home prices fall in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in Palos Hills fell by $1,000 while total sales increased by 9.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $152,000 - a 0.7% decrease over the $153,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Palos Hills in March 2016.

The median sales tax in Palos Hills for 2017 was $3,301. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,386. This marks an decrease of 2.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
