Alsip home prices fall in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in Alsip fell by $6,500 while total sales increased by 114.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $128,000 - a 4.8% decrease over the $134,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Alsip in March 2016.

The median sales tax in Alsip for 2017 was $4,631. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,131. This marks an increase of 12.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.6%.
