Thornton home prices rise in March 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2017 in Thornton rose by $40,250 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $106,500 - a 60.8% increase over the $66,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Thornton in March 2016, as well.

The median sales tax in Thornton for 2017 was $3,400. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,388. This marks an increase of 0.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.2%.
