South Chicago Heights home prices rise in June 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2017 in South Chicago Heights rose by $43,500 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $80,000 - a 119.2% increase over the $36,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in South Chicago Heights in June 2016.

The median sales tax in South Chicago Heights for 2017 was $2,686. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,596. This marks an increase of 3.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 3.4%.
