Lemont (Cook County) home prices rise in July 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in Lemont in Cook County rose by $6,250 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were 33 homes sold, with a median sale price of $355,000 - a 1.8% increase over the $348,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Lemont in July 2016.

The median sales tax in Lemont for 2017 was $6,720. In 2016, the median sales tax was $6,024. This marks an increase of 11.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
