Lemont (Cook County) home prices fall in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Lemont in Cook County fell by $44,750 while total sales increased by 15.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $295,250 - a 13.2% decrease over the $340,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in Lemont in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Lemont for 2017 was $6,720. In 2016, the median sales tax was $6,024. This marks an increase of 11.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.3%.
