Burnham home prices fall in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Burnham fell by $29,750 while total sales decreased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $23,000 - a 56.4% decrease over the $52,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Burnham in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Burnham for 2017 was $2,964. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,263. This marks an decrease of 9.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 12.9%.
