Phoenix home prices rise in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Phoenix rose by $29,500 while total sales increased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $59,500 - a 98.3% increase over the $30,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Phoenix in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Phoenix for 2017 was $1,741. In 2016, the median sales tax was $1,975. This marks an decrease of 11.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.9%.
