Summit home prices rise in May 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2018 in Summit rose by $4,500 while total sales decreased by 76.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2018, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $157,500 - a 2.9% increase over the $153,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Summit in May 2017.

The median sales tax in Summit for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,542, approximately 3.5% of the median home sale price for May 2018.
