South Chicago Heights home prices rise in May 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2018 in South Chicago Heights rose by $37,000 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2018, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $120,000 - a 44.6% increase over the $83,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in South Chicago Heights in May 2017.

The median sales tax in South Chicago Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,686, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for May 2018.
