Homewood home prices rise in November 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2018 in Homewood rose by $6,000 while total sales decreased by 20%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2018, there were 24 homes sold, with a median sale price of $153,500 - a 4.1% increase over the $147,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 30 homes sold in Homewood in November 2017.

The median sales tax in Homewood for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,741, approximately 3.1% of the median home sale price for November 2018.
