City of Palos Heights Parks & Recreation Committee met May 14.

6. New Business

A. Motion to approve change order for pool deck drainage in the amount of $15,703.50. This includes 11 additional drains (17 total), labor and supplies. We currently do not meet the state’s code requirement of drains per every 15 feet.

B. Motion to approve change order for pool deck concrete area in the amount not to exceed $10,000.00. This includes removal of old concrete, removal of old diving stands, replacement of concrete strips along the north, east and south end of the project.

7. Old Business

A. Motion to approve Palos Baseball Organization request for extended use of lighting on Pony Field and North Field on June 8 and 21, 2019 until 11:59 p.m. and for possible rain dates of June 26-28, 2019 until 11:00 p.m.

B. Motion to approve replacement of tennis court lighting at Community Park in the amount of $11,528.00.
