CALL TO ORDER

The regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Blue Island was called to order by Mayor Vargas at 7:00 p,m. on March 26, 2019.

PUBLIC COMMENT

Victor Lee, 2957 142nd Place, spoke on behalf of his wife Donna Lee regarding her neighborhood watch program for the California Gardens and Deer Point.

Veronica Rodriguez spoke about water bill issues and a complaint against the city clerk.

Carol DiPace-Greene clarified about water rates and increases. She stated the City of Chicago charges $3.94 per thousand gallons of water. She was also looking for clarification regarding appropriations and looking to reverse all non union wage increases.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF THE PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 2933 W. BURR OAK AVENUE, BLUE ISLAND, ILLINOIS WITH PROPERTY INDEX NUMBER 24-36-101-010-0000, TO CHRIS MESSINO.

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CORPORATE PURPOSES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2019 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2019.

Motion by Ald. Bilotto, second by Ald. Johnson to amend Ordinance No. 2019-006.
