There was one offender released on parole during the fourth quarter living near Illinois zip code 60461, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by South Cook News.

The data shows that the man was released in the Pontiac zip code. The 23-year-old parolee wasn't a veteran.

He was sentenced to 3 years in prison for a crime involving one or more weapons in 2017 when he was 21 years old.
