Cleanup week is this week. Forgot and saw stuff out and realized it's cleanup week. Wants a cleanup day before summer is over. Is going to complain about the grass. Wasn't ready due to the rain and is not satisfied. Had two mowers down and had to poll the Council to get those up and running. Met with County Officials. They want to do more with us. Also been doing things with the State. Had discussions with County about the streets. Working with the new Alderwomen closely, been getting trees cut and a sidewalk fixed. We're doing what we can. 149th Street subdivision is working with Mr. Thompson and a meeting scheduled with Deborah Sims. Part of the Southland Regional Mayors Black Caucus. Provide a report on the radio on Saturdays to inform about what's going on. New Mayors sworn in in University Park and Harvey. Ald. SPEAKING OF VARIOUS

Annie Reed – People keep asking about the Dollar Store. They should be required to make updates starting with the floor. Young men have been doing an excellent job on grass cutting and her neighbor's yard. Mayor Agpawa - had a discussion with the Shopping Center today.

Bertha Blair - 16354 Justine - resident since 1960 – since they built the school, the curb has broken down and now water stands there and wants to get it patched. Signs also need replacing for parking restrictions.

Rose Williams – 155th Street and Hamlin - where are we with the culvert issue. Ald. Barron - need some dry weather, the part is here Mayor Agpawa – thinks it's bigger than the culvert and is looking into it further.

Brenda Berry – 157th & Sawyer - excellent job done with fall clean up, however, the ditch looks bad. There's debris and trash that was never cleaned up. Don't mind pitching in, but it's entirely too much trash.

Ray Ashley -- issue with vacant houses and the grasss not being cut. Some only cut the front and not the back and he's sick of it.

CLOSE FLOOR TO PUBLIC

Motion by Ald. Barron, seconded by Ald. Jones, to close floor to public.
