A Coffee & Conversation session with Darien Mayor Joe Marchese and two members of the state legislature is scheduled at Chuck’s Southern Comforts Cafe for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10.

Join the mayor, state Sen. John F. Curran (R-Woodridge) and state House Republican Leader Jim Durkin (R-Burr Ridge) at the public forum billed as a “casual conversation over coffee,” according to a Facebook post. “Come share your thoughts on community and legislative matters important to you.”

Curran, appointed in 2017, won re-election by a 51-49 margin in 2018. Durkin, who previously served from 1995 to 2003, won re-election in 2006. He captured his district by a 62-38 margin in 2018.

The venue is located at 8025 S. Cass Ave.
