The data shows that the 17 released offenders living in the Richton Park zip code were men. The median age of the parolees was 30. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old man convicted of a property crime in 2018, and the oldest was a 44-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2018.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Andres Ramos. He was convicted of homicide in 2014, when he was 22 years old. He is now 27.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
