Illinois General Assembly: HB92 actions on July 12

The following actions were taken on July 12 in the House on House bill HB92 ("criminal law-tech"): "Public Act . . . . . . . . ." and "Governor Approved".

The bill, as it was introduced in the House by Rep. Michael J. Madigan (D-22) on Dec. 10, 2018, "amends the Prevention of Tobacco Use by Minors and Sale and Distribution of Tobacco Products Act" and "makes a technical change in a section concerning the short title," according to the General Assembly website.

The following senators co-sponsored the bill: Jason A. Barickman (R-53), Scott M. Bennett (D-52), Linda Holmes (D-42), Kimberly A. Lightford (D-4), Laura M. Murphy (D-28) and Ram Villivalam (D-8).

The following house representatives also co-sponsored the bill: Thaddeus Jones (D-29), Yehiel M. Kalish (D-16), Joyce Mason (D-61) and Karina Villa (D-49).
