DIRECTOR’S REPORT

Public Works Director Adam Jasinski presented the following reports:

 Light Poles and Landscaping at City Hall: the new light poles should be here by the end of August. The landscaping will begin in July.

 Welcome Signs Update: the first welcome sign has arrived and was installed on College Drive. It looks good, so the rest of the signs will be ordered.

 Motor Vehicle Maintenance Update: most of the issues recently have been with PD vehicles and air conditioning. Repairs were also made to the chipper truck and repairs to lift gates.

 Gazebo in Community Park: the gazebo will be power washed and painted in time for the July 3rd event. Alderman Basso requested that all the bulbs be checked. Director Jasinski said the bulbs have not been simply burning out; they have been vandalized and PW have been trying to keep up with replacement as that occurs. The bulbs have been replaced with new led lights. Alderman Kramarski inquired if security cameras can be installed.

Public Works Director Adam Jasinski sought approval for payment of an invoice from Morris Engineering in the amount of $3,195.50 for professional engineering services.
