10. CORRESPONDENCE/EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION

 Sgt Crowley did a great job organizing the police portion of the Independence Day celebration.

 A resident complimented the whole department on the great job they, and also singled out Ofc Hutchinson for his assistance in the past with her domestic situation.

 The Team at HardHead Veterans sent a thank you note to all the officers for their hard and often times thankless job they do.

 Again a resident from the Westgate area, stopped in at the station just to say thank you.

 A resident sent a thank you note for helping her with a house hold chore that she wasn’t able to do because of an injured ankle.

 Another resident brought sweets to thank us for watching her home while she was on vacation.

 Ofc Carlson assisted with a domestic situation at Palos Health and the mother of the victim called to thank him.

 The following officers were recognized for their efforts in DUI enforcement; Ofc Apostal, Ofc Belseth, Ofc Delaney and Sgt Dreger.
