Countryside home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Countryside rose by $69,250 while total sales decreased by 26.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $221,000 - a 45.6% increase over the $151,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in Countryside in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Countryside for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,308, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
