Steger (Cook County) home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Steger in Cook County rose by $57,500 while total sales decreased by 27.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $110,000 - a 109.5% increase over the $52,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 18 homes sold in Steger in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Steger for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,649, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
