Countryside home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Countryside rose by $100,500 while total sales remained unchanged with 38 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 38 homes sold, with a median sale price of $231,500 - a 76.7% increase over the $131,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 38 homes sold in Countryside in the first half of 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Countryside for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,308, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
