Hickory Hills home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Hickory Hills rose by $3,250 while total sales decreased by 19.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 85 homes sold, with a median sale price of $220,500 - a 1.5% increase over the $217,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 106 homes sold in Hickory Hills in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Hickory Hills for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $5,518, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
