Glenwood home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Glenwood rose by $12,250 while total sales decreased by 10%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 63 homes sold, with a median sale price of $120,000 - a 11.4% increase over the $107,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 70 homes sold in Glenwood in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Glenwood for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,118, approximately 3.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
