Thornton home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Thornton rose by $22,250 while total sales remained unchanged with 26 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $109,250 - a 25.6% increase over the $87,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in Thornton in the first half of 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Thornton for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,372, approximately 3.1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
