Markham home prices unchanged in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Markham was unchanged while total sales increased by 8.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 75 homes sold, with a median sale price of $45,000. There were 69 homes sold in Markham in the first half of 2018, and the median sales price for the period was also $45,000.

The median sales tax in Markham for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,235, approximately 7.2% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
