Village of Tinley Park issued the following announcement on Dec. 20.
At the Dec. 17 Village Board meeting, Enterprise TE Products Pipeline Company presented the Village of Tinley Park with a $1,000 grant which the Tinley Park Fire Department will use to purchase safety equipment, including monitoring devices for combustible gases and toxic atmospheres.
Enterprise has a pipeline that runs through Tinley Park. The company selects emergency response teams in the areas impacted by its pipeline for donations each year, and Tinley Park was selected to receive such contributions in 2019.
