Village of South Chicago Heights Board of Trustees met Nov. 18.

An Appropriation Public Hearing was held at the Village Hall, 3317 Chicago Road, South Chicago Heights, Illinois, on Monday, November 18, 2019. Mayor Terry Matthews called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. and requested the Village Clerk, Catherine Linan to call the roll. The following were present:

John Dolasinski Treasurer
Mayor Matthews asked Treasurer John Dolasinski to address the board regarding the proposed Appropriation Ordinance. Treasurer John Dolasinski stated that at a prior meeting the fiscal year 2020 Operating Budget was discussed, and an Appropriation Ordinance was generated from the 2020 Operating Budget. Treasurer Dolasinski stated that as required by law a notice of this public hearing was published in the local Daily Southtown Newspaper on November 7, 2019 and that this ordinance has been available for public inspection longer than 10 days. Mayor Matthews asked the Village Board if they had any questions or comments regarding this ordinance. Mayor Matthews then opened the discussion for any public audience comments. Mayor Matthews stated that with no audience participation that adjournment was in order.

With nothing further to discuss, Trustee Stanton motioned to adjourn the appropriation hearing, seconded by Trustee Fiorenzo. On a voice vote, all ayes, no nays, the motion so ordered. Meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m.
