6. ADMINISTRATION

A. Approval of Agreement No. 2020-01-0275A amending the Oak Forest Police Department’s Voluntary Employees Beneficiary Association (VEBA) Plan. The attached memo from City Administrator Julian, dated January 7, 2020, provides supporting details.

B. Discussion of changing the starting time of regularly scheduled meetings of the Oak Forest City Council and consideration to change it to 7:00 pm. The attached memo from Mayor Kuspa, dated January 9, 2020, provides additional information.

7. FIRE

A. Approval of Ordinance No. 2020-01-0779O amending Chapter 94.13 of the Oak Forest Municipal Code; Fire Lane Schedule. The attached memo from Fire Chief Duffy, dated January 2, 2020 provides supporting details.

B. Approval of the expenditure of funds in the budgeted amount of $10,359.00 to complete firefighter physicals by Professional Health Services Inc. of Havertown, Pennsylvania. The attached memo from Fire Chief Duffy, dated January 2, 2020 provides supporting details.

8. CITIZENS PARTICIPATION: The Oak Forest City Council invites public comment at its meetings, but it generally does not have the ability to provide an immediate response to some questions raised during the Citizens Participation portion of a council meeting without some reasonable opportunity to review them. Therefore, the City Council encourages questions to also be submitted in writing in the event that they need to be referred to City staff to help assure a more thoughtful and informed response.
