Village of Homewood Board of Trustees met at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28.

A. Consider a motion to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees held on January 14, 2020. Minutes attached.

6. Claim List: Consider a motion to approve the Claims List of Tuesday, January 28, 2020 in the amount of $233,694.96. Claims List attached.

7. Presentations:

A. Resolutions R-3043/ Lawrence Lipsinki/Retirement/ Firefighter /Paramedic: Consider a motion to pass a resolution honoring Lawrence Lipinski on his retirement from the Village of Homewood.

B. Resolution R-3044/ William Wright / Retirement / Firefighter /Paramedic: Consider a motion to pass a resolution honoring William Wright on his retirement from the Village of Homewood.

C. Oath Of Office/ Promotions-Fire Captains: The Village Clerk will administer the oath of office to John Elashik and Tom Gaskin as Captains for the Fire Department. Information attached.

D. Oath of Office/ Promotions- Fire Lieutenants: The Village Clerk will administer the oath of office to Ryan Schneiter and Ryan Tracy as Lieutenants for the Fire Department. Information attached.

E. Oath of Office/Engineering Project Coordinator: The Village Clerk will administer the oath of office to Brian Hankey as Engineering Project Coordinator for the Public Works Department. Information attached.

9. Omnibus Vote: Consider a motion to pass, approve, authorize, accept, or award the following items “A” through “H”:

A. Proclamation/100th Anniversary League of Women Voters: President Hofeld will issue a proclamation celebrating the 100th anniversary of the League of Women Voters.

B. Financial Assistance Request/Dessin Properties, LLC/1941 Ridge Road: Consider a motion to authorize the Village President to enter into an agreement with Eric Schamber, of Dessin Properties LLC, to provide financial assistance from the non-TIF Business Incentive Program in the amount of $75,800.00 for incentives and a rebate of $25,000.00 for places for eating tax for improvements to the business located at 1941 Ridge Road.

C. Budget Amendment/Ashland Avenue Sewer Repairs: Approve a budget amendment to increase line item 12-3-333-53-1101 (Contractual Services-Ashland) in the amount of $125,000.00 for various sanitary sewer repairs on Ashland Avenue.

D. Resolution R-3045/Adoption of the 2019 Zoning Map: Pass a resolution adopting the official zoning map of the Village of Homewood, Cook County, Illinois for the calendar year of 2019.

E. Resolution R-3046/Intergovernmental Agreement-Fire Station Alerting Equipment: Pass a resolution approving an intergovernmental agreement for the provision of fire station alerting equipment and associated software under a grant through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

F. Ordinance M-2125/Special Use Permit/Body By Ivory-18659 Dixie Highway: Pass an ordinance granting a special use permit to allow a fitness center to operate at 18659 Dixie Highway, Homewood, Cook County, Illinois.

G. Ordinance M-2126/Special Use Permit/Strictly Hair Salon-18116 Martin Avenue: Pass an ordinance granting a special use permit to allow a salon/spa to operate at 18116 Martin Avenue, Homewood, Cook County, Illinois.

H. Ordinance MC-1031/Amend Homewood Municipal Code/Building and Building Regulations- Solar Panels and Fences and Railings: Pass an ordinance amending Chapter 22 of the Homewood Municipal Code revising fence and railing requirements and adopting the 2018 International Solar Energy Provisions Code.
