Approval of Agreement No. 2020-02-0298A between the Village of Orland Park, the Village of Tinley Park, the Village of Midlothian, the Village of Orland Hills and the City of Oak Forest for sharing of police services, personnel, equipment and resources. C. Approval of the purchase and installation of 26 truck lockers at a total budgeted cost of $28,600.00 from Police Department Systems Inc. of Tinley Park, Illinois. The attached memo from Deputy Police Chief Reid, dated February 25, 2020, provides supporting details.

D. Approval of the purchase of three new 2020 Ford Explorer Police Interceptors and two new 2020 Ford Police Hybrid Sedans, and the purchase and installation of equipment for these vehicles at a total budgeted cost of $228,742.30 from the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative. A. Approval of Asbestos Abatement Bid Award for work at 16800 Kilpatrick Avenue (Orchard Hill School) to Husar Abatement Limited of Franklin Park, Illinois at a budgeted amount of $15,000.00. B. Approval of Resolution No. 2020-02-0365R authorizing the expenditure of $1,996,700.00 budgeted MFT funds for the improvement of nine (9) streets in Oak Forest and associated improvements, as part of the 2020 Motor Fuel Tax Program. A. Approval of Ordinance No. 2020-02-0782O authorizing a variation request to allow a temporary sign beyond the standard time allowance of a temporary sign permit in the O1 – Office District at 15000 Cicero Avenue; petitioned by Theresa Valentine. B. Approval of Ordinance No. 2020-02-0783O authorizing a text amendment to Section 5- 108(B)(1) of the Oak Forest Zoning Ordinance to make Single Family Residential Dwelling Units a permitted use in the C3 zoning district on Cicero Avenue between 159th Street and 162nd Street, with the exception of property in the Redeveloping Overlay District in the C3 – Central Business District. 9. CITIZENS PARTICIPATION: The Oak Forest City Council invites public comment at its meetings, but it generally does not have the ability to provide an immediate response to some questions raised during the Citizens Participation portion of a council meeting without some reasonable opportunity to review them. Therefore, the City Council encourages questions to also be submitted in writing in the event that they need to be referred to City staff to help assure a more thoughtful and informed response.
