Cook County GOP Chairman Sean Morrison congratulated the Republican Primary winners, saying they will unite the party leading into the fall's general election.

"Republican voters have selected some outstanding candidates to face-off against Democrats in November," Morrison said. "I'm looking forward to our candidates bringing a strong message of reform to voters especially in the face of all the corruption ravaging the Democratic Party."

Patrick O’Brien was selected by GOP voters to run for state attorney against Kim Foxx, the incumbent candidate.

Additionally, clerk of the Circuit Court candidate Barbara Bellar and Board of Review incumbent Dan Patlak will be on the November ballot after running unopposed in the GOP primary on March 17.

Morrison said he is pleased that the candidates are all very qualified for their positions and he believes they will bring a “professionalism and integrity” to county government.
