Village of Tinley Park issued the following announcement on May 15.
You know spring has finally arrived when two things happen: the weather starts getting warmer, and the Benches on the Avenue begin appearing in Downtown Tinley!
Check out the nearly two dozen benches now through October from 172nd to 175th streets along Oak Park Avenue. This year’s theme is “Around the World” and features imaginative, three-dimensional works that depict some of the most explored and fascinating travel destinations, vacation spots and/or iconic landmarks across the globe.
Due to the COIVD-19 pandemic, Benches visitors are reminded that face coverings are required in all public areas. Visitors should also practice safe social distancing by keeping at least six feet away from one another. See the Village's COVID-19 page for more information.
