Analysis: Worth pays $3.81 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Worth Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 79.1 percent of the $1,115,719 the Worth Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.81 for every $1 from pension members, according to a South Cook News analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Worth contributed $882,222 to the fund, which saw a $16,633 decrease in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $231,387, or 20.7 percent, in 2018. Another $2,110 came from other unspecified sources.
