1) Approval of an honorary street designation for:

a) Former Mayor Arnold “Arnie” Andrews on Orchard Ave, between 122nd-123rd Streets, to be known as “Mayor Arnie Andrews Way”.

b) Pastor Dan Willis of the Lighthouse Church of All Nations at both driveways leading to the church at 4501 W. 127th Street to be known as “Pastor Dan Willis Drive” (supply only, as these will be posted on private property, off 127th St).

3) APPROVAL OF AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18, TAXATION, ARTICLE X, PRIVILEGE TAX ON PURCHASE OF MOTOR FUEL AT RETAIL, SECTION 18-203, IMPOSITION OF TAX, AND SECTION 18-211, DISPOSITION OF PROCEEDS OF TAX, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ALSIP.

1) Approval of the Sewer and Water Department August Monthly Activity Report.

2) Approval to post job availability in house for one week seeking a full time clerical position within the Water Department to replace personnel who recently transferred to another department.

3) Approval of contract award for the Pulaski Road & Springfield Ave Fire Service Connections to the low bidder, H. Linden & Sons Sewer and Water, Inc in the amount of One Hundred Ninety-Six Thousand One Hundred Ninety Dollars and Zero Cents ($196,190.00).

1) Approval of the Health Department August 2020 Monthly Activity Report.

1) Approval to have the Village Attorney assist the Village drafting an RFP for property management at both Village owned Heritage I and II apartment complexes, serving residents who are 55 years old and over.

2) Approval to have both Heritage I and II invoicing approved by the Village Committee and Board.

1) Approval of a list of licenses dated August 17th through 28th, 2020.

7. PRESENTATIONS, PETITIONS, COMMUNICATIONS

1) Approval of lowering the annual fees for Video Gaming Terminals from $500.00 to $250.00 per terminal. The State of Illinois allows up to six (6) terminals in each establishment. The Village currently receives $3,000.00 per establishment x 16 establishments = $48,000.00. This suggestion to reduce the annual fees was made by Lisa Zett, proprietor of Southsides Bar. (Trustee Murphy)
