With less than a week away from the earlier changed deadline of September 30th, 2020, the extension could allow for a more complete, accurate, and fair count of all communities. However, this decision is expected to be appealed by the Department of Justice. The interminable twists and turns of the 2020 Census are not yet complete. We will update you as we know more. This means the work is not done, continue your excellent engagement to get Alsip counted. (Trustee Nava-Esparza)
